Q&A with Amber Schleicher, Tohi's Digital Marketing Consultant

Amber Schleicher is a digital marketing enthusiast with a passion for data. She graduated from Oklahoma State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations and a minor in English. She has 19 years of sales and marketing experience with most of her career focused on digital marketing. She loves testing and analyzing data and working to continuously improve the consumer experience throughout the full marketing funnel. 

When she's not busy strategizing or developing marketing plans, she loves to cook and entertain with her husband Eric and they often host parties for their family and friends. The two also have a garden that keeps them busy and they love to travel. 

Q: Why did you want to join the Tohi team? 

A: I wanted to join Tohi because it's an innovative company that is a thought leader on the Aronia Berry. I love that the company was founded by two women who have a focus on wellness and that the product name pays homage to the history of the berry. I also love the challenge of not only marketing Tohi as a beverage, but also marketing the education of Aronia. I truly believe in the product and am passionate about sharing with the world the story and the benefits of Tohi. 

Q: What do you like most about your job at Tohi?

A: The innovative thinking of Shari our CEO and Austin our Director of Finance and Operations. Each week there is a new company, platform or store that we are partnering with to promote Tohi. I also love the beauty of the product and the design work that Isaac creates to market our product and I enjoy collaborating with Madison on how to incorporate both organic and paid social through holistic marketing strategies. 

Q: What is your favorite Tohi flavor? 

A: Blackberry Raspberry with the Original a close second. 

Q: How did you first become interested in eCommerce and digital marketing?

A: I believe digital marketing is a form of public relations. Online is where people are reviewing, talking about and sharing brands. Digital marketing is forever evolving and challenging. There is always something new to learn and I love the opportunity for continual growth in my career. 

Q: What's a typical work day like for you?

A: Data, there is always data to analyze. Whether it's social media campaigns, traffic to our eCommerce websites, and/or an overview of who our target audiences are and where they are coming from. There is always a story to tell and decisions to be made based off what the data is telling us.  

Q: What aspect of your job are you most excited about? 

A: Growing our audiences. Learning more about who they are and what they are looking for so I can provide them with resources to meet their needs and OF COURSE to sell Tohi!
